A world without inequality?
Inequalities in society are often decried as something to be fought against, but do you think a world without inequalities is enviable? Inequality is a reality of the world we live in. It is inevitable. A world without inequality is a utopia. It's something quite unrealistic. But should we quit striving for an egalitarian society? The pursuit of equality can be conceived as a continuum. Each step takes us closer to the ideal of equality. The process is incremental and involves patience as well as perseverance. That's the essence of our eternal struggle to build a perfect social order Inequality shouldn't always be equated with injustice, discrimination or economic dysfunction. Nature has not endowed everyone with the same level of talent. Then why should we expect equal fortunes for all irrespective of their contributions?
